Objectives

El projecte MyRights se centra en tres objectius principals:

1. To facilitate the exchange of experiences and perspectives among professionals, individuals with disabilities, and their families on Supported Decision Making (SDM), risk management, and safeguarding practices.
    
2. To identify practical challenges and solutions for safeguarding individuals with disabilities, providing families and professionals with actionable insights to enhance decision-making processes.
    
3. To empower participants with knowledge and tools to advocate for supported decision-making and safeguarding mechanisms, increasing awareness of rights and European values.

Main expected Outcomes

Increased understanding of rights-based approaches to SDM and safeguarding, enhanced advocacy capacity, and the creation of a collaborative environment for sharing best practices and identifying gaps in support services.
